This boutique hotel with 8 rooms and a extensive wellness offer is beautifully situated in the Spanish mountains, in the Sierra de Maryola National Park between Alicante and Valencia. The house from the 18th century has been gently renovated with great dedication and tells a story in every corner. The large garden opens the view into the nature, directly on the wooded hills of the surroundings. The rushing of the wind in the pine trees is unforgettable. The eye-catcher is the big yoga shala that protrudes through the trees in the form of a hemisphere. Inside of it there is incredible acoustics and the bright Spanish light floods the room through the transparent walls. If you practice yoga here, the ohm and the gong reverberate so long that you almost get goose bumps, but in any case you feel immediately deeply relaxed. Although yoga is practiced in a concentrated way, the eye wanders from time to time into the valley. Nature invites you to relax and focus on the essential. The team around Sonia who runs the MasQi with passion is always there for the guests, gives you a smile, a good mood and a cup of kukicha tea at any time. We meet a life concept that we love: energy, sustainability, cheerfulness. What the Supercharger is for the car, the MasQi is for the soul of its guests: in no time the batteries are more than fully charged – of course sustainably.

Starting your day with yoga is a true gift. If this happens in the middle of nature, in the light-flooded yoga shala and under the warm guidance of Sonia, then the start is perfect. The lesson offers a variety of styles, from the original yoga tradition of Iyengar to Bowspring, a newer US concept that focuses on fascia work. After every hour you are stretched, strengthened and simply feel good. In addition, the already delicious breakfast tastes even better . Here the energy concept continues: a warm miso soup is served, then vegan rice pudding, fruits, homemade bread with unsweetened jam and nut spread. You can gues it already: here you eat 100% ecologic, organic,,vegan and macrobiotic food. It goes without saying that all dishes are served on beautiful handmade plates, at a large, long wooden table where the guests like to meet.

Everyone likes to practice here. No matter which level you have, everyone will find their way here, be it in yoga classes, a massage, meditation or a extensive walk through the national park. One is gladly accompanied by Lobo (Lobo is Spanish and means wolf). He’s the friendly hotel dog, who always welcomes you wagging his tail and wants to be cuddled at any time. A siesta under the beautiful trees, a jump into the pool and then let the sun work its magic on you…. … Here you come to rest also thanks to the extensive healthy food. Those who think that only tea is served here can relax: here you can renounce, but you don’t have to. Everything is simply biological and local, but you can always order and enjoy whatever you want. In this environment we gladly voluntarily renounce – according to the motto: “less is more“.
