The journey to a more sustainable future

This is how it works

Once you experienced the calm, relaxed driving in an electric car, you will no longer want to switch to a combustion engine vehicle. And in case you are currently still feeling a little range anxiety, we can assure you that this is completely unfounded. We did 40,553 miles using 9 different cars on 4 continents without the slightest issue. Even if there were not always fast chargers in remote locations – electricity was available everywhere!

Traveling by electric car: advantages and prejudices

The world can be experienced in a more sustainable and ecologically meaningful way. Ideally, of course, on foot, by bike, by train or simply by electric car. Driving electric you are definitely traveling much more environmentally friendly than by plane. If you want to do more, you can compensate your carbon footprint – for example with myclimate.

Another advantage pays off: if you can recharge at your destination free of charge, this results in an additional positive economic effect. Which leads us to the third aspect of sustainability, namely the social component. The best way to invest the money you saved is to spend it on site, e.g. on a good meal cooked from local ingredients. And there are also other “sensible” advantages that you experience while driving: a low noise level, no vibrations, intensive acceleration and driving dynamics and, above all, no annoying exhaust fumes in your nose. Even if you have to stop by on a long trip, you will arrive safely and much more relaxed at your destination. In order to really enjoy the driving experience, we recommend to make your way your destination. Choose an attractive route and travel consciously. Enjoy the wonderful sights and unique landscapes, the diversity of nature on the way to a more sustainable future!

E-mobility simply explained

Unfortunately, there is still a lot of wrong information about electromobility. From our point of view, electric vehicles have many advantages. They are more environmentally friendly, less expensive and have significantly fewer wear parts than conventional vehicles.

The information videos of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) in Germany provide clear answers to many questions relating to the topic of electromobility.

Travel planning using an electric car

Plan your trip in a way that allows your batteries to always have enough power – and we don’t just mean the power of your car. Choose the most beautiful route, not necessarily the fastest, because that relaxes and saves energy. A few more tips for charging: Charge the car in good time, opportunistically, only as long as necessary, with some reserve and preferably overnight. And if you need further tips, please contact us!

Last but not least we have also listed some charging map providers with whom we have had good experiences on the go, or who have been recommended to us by friends.
